Wow. I thought when I posted the opportunity for $20 in free groceries from Peapod, I'd get at least a few comments. Other than one person who couldn't participate, I didn't hear from anyone.
No one.
Nada.
Not even from my fellow CT bloggers who I know live within Peapod's delivery area.
So I'm rescinding the contest, and I'll give the discount to the first person who puts a comment on my blog and asks for the code. You do need to be within the Peapod delivery area (check on Peapod's site to see if your zip code is within their service area).
For those of you who decided not to participate, I'd like to know why. Not in Peapod's area? Thought the contest was lame? Tried Peapod before and didn't like it? Feel free to leave a comment - just be polite. I'd hate for your comment to be "deleted by administrator."
Ok, people - let's go. Somebody?? Anybody??
Update @ 11 pm - Interesting ... try to pull a contest and suddenly there's activity! Patty @ The WingDangDoo got her comment in first, but has graciously deferred to see if others want to chime in. Her idea? Use the $20 to fly in For a Different Kind of Girl to join us for our next blogger meetup.

I'd have jumped at the chance, and I jumped on the link to Peapod when I read your post about the contest, but they don't have service here in my state. I didn't drop a comment saying that, because I assumed you'd have comments from those who could participate, and figured you didn't have to pluck my "great contest, wish I could, but I can't" comment.
For what it's worth, I do wish I could! I went to the grocery store today, and it was ugly. Ugly crowded. I'd dig door delivery!

Well, as I mentioned when I saw you Thurs night, I've been in complete work hell this week. Friday sucked ALMOST as bad as Thurs but not quite, and I tried to unplug from the internets for the weekend... so I didn't see the dadgumb thing. would totally have entered. Because I use Peapod all the time, even though I kind of hate them.
Not available here.

I've never heard of it, which should come as no surprise seeing as I live in a small town in Kentucky. We have Walmart. Strangely, people are satisfied with that.
Heh! If $20 got me close, I'd be there in a heartbeat, because I get the impression you all are a wee bit silly together! I can, from time to time, do silly!
I kinda figured that I couldn't use the discount since I have ordered from them many times.
If there's anything I could use right now, it'd be PeaPod. Grocery shopping with three girls under four = complete nightmare!
My brain is too fried to do anything remotely resembling following directions. If it has more than one step, I can't handle it.
Actually, I just took a look at your contest again, and there really would have been only one step for me bc I know Peapod delivers to me. But I was having a busy week and it looked like there might be more than one step involved, so I skipped participating since I can barely handle my own laundry, much less put the clean clothes away.
Count me in. I would take the $20 I save in groceries and purchase a supply of condoms for the Palin children to keep on hand.
Or else I'll give Gary, the peapod driver for my regular Wednesday 7-9 am delivery window, an extra spiff during my winning week.

Oh- I would totally buy a Ped Egg with my $20! You're talking to a loser who actually ordered Kinoki Foot Pads from TV once.
